Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look

Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series S and X. It will not be released on PC until next year. The new GTA will not be released on CD or DVD. This news comes as PlayStation announced they will stop making CDs and only offer digital downloads. Many PlayStation users are talking about boycotting PlayStation, and some are planning to switch to Microsoft XBOX.

Xbox is taking advantage of Sony leaving CDS. Microsoft said they will allow you to convert a disc to a digital license. So some users have switched. Many users have already pre-ordered GTA 6 on PlayStation and decided to stick with PlayStation. In my opinion, GTA 6 is the biggest release of 2026.

Cyberleek leaked gameplay from the game, but Rockstar filed subpoenas to find Cyberleek. Netflix subscribers got an early preview of the gameplay that Cyberleek didn’t leek. In my opinion, the game looks amazing, and I love how the black character looks just as good as the white character with a different hairstyle, not the kilmoger hairstyle in most games. So black people are represented in this game. The characters look like people I know.

The gameplay is amazing and looks like an HD Movie. Sorry, it will not be on XBOX Game Pass. Rockstar said the game will not have in-app purchases. I feel they will add in-app purchases to an online version if they release it. Don’t worry, the GTA 5 Online server will still work for current players. On Steam, you can grab GTA 5 for $19-30.00, and it’s truly the last release with a physical disc.
