Grand Theft Auto 6 Updates

Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series S and X. It will not be released on PC or Nintendo. The new GTA will not be released on CD  or DVD. This news comes as PlayStation announced they will stop making CD’s and only offer digital downloads. Many PlayStation users are talking about boycotting PlayStation, and some are planning to switch to Microsoft Xbox.

Xbox is taking advantage of Sony leaving CDS. Microsoft said they will allow you to convert a disc to a digital license. So some users have switched. Many users have already pre-ordered GTA 6 on PlayStation and decided to stick with PlayStation. In my opinion, GTA 6 is the biggest release of 2026.

CONSOLE PRICE INCREASE

Game console prices have increased. The new Xbox may cost $1,000 like the Steam Machine. The new XBOX is rumored to support CDS and will support 360, One, S, and X games.

GameSpot: announced today that an “extended look” at GTA 6 will be available on Netflix on August 27.
