Black Eyed Peas Release 20th Anniversary Edition of ‘Monkey Business’ Album

The six-time GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum pop-rap group Black Eyed Peas released the new 20th Anniversary Edition of their classic fourth full-length LP, Monkey Business, in honor of the album’s 20th anniversary. Monkey Business was released on June 7, 2005. It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, marking their first Top 10 entry on the chart.

GRAMMY

Out of five GRAMMY® Award nominations, Black Eyed Peas received “Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group” for “Don’t Phunk With My Heart” in 2006 and “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals” for “My Humps” in 2007.

UMe celebrated the multi-platinum success of the world-renowned group with a special RIAA plaque presentation at FYI Studios in Hollywood. Known for their genre-defying fusion of pop, hip-hop, and electronic music, high-energy performances, and chart-topping global anthems, the group continues to redefine the sound of a generation.

SALES

Black Eyed Peas have now eclipsed global sales of 65 million-plus, making them one of the best-selling acts in history. Throughout 2025, the group has also commemorated its 30th anniversary with a series of limited-edition physical reissues.
